Anyone visiting MΓΌnster has the unique opportunity to view sculptures from the Skulptur Projekte MΓΌnster for free: Since 1977, MΓΌnster transforms into a huge public exhibition space for a few months every ten years during the Skulptur Projekte MΓΌnster.
After the end of each exhibition, some sculptures remain in the "Public Collection" and continue to be accessible free of charge. Below are some links to Google Maps lists featuring the locations of the sculptures, photos, and tips for visiting:
- Skulptur Projekte MΓΌnster 1977
- Skulptur Projekte MΓΌnster 1987
- Skulptur Projekte MΓΌnster 1997
- Skulptur Projekte MΓΌnster 2007

A great way to get from sculpture to sculpture is by bicycle, in typical MΓΌnster style. A relaxed tour of all the sculptures in the public collection of the Skulptur Projekte MΓΌnster can easily take a whole week. If you have less time, you might want to make a selection: the three remaining sculptures from 1977, for example, can be easily reached in one afternoon.
